Sales Schema helps boutique ad agencies and marketing service companies generate business opportunities. We do this by running ‘done-for-you’ outreach campaigns to land sales appointments for clients .
Who We Need:
Sales Schema is looking for an Account Manager to lead several key client accounts, help execute internal sales and marketing campaigns, and improve our operations overall. You will lead a key operational role in a growing company, which will entail creativity and leadership.
You will be the first point of contact to our expanding roster of clients, uncovering their needs and leveraging our team of experts to deliver results. We are looking for someone we can trust to represent ourselves to our clients and take ownership for customer success.
You will be a utility player, and the role will be roughly 70% client service, and 30% operations and admin.
The key qualities we are looking for are communication, problem-solving and an ability to learn. If you are a general VA or customer service rep with some sales experience looking to build new skills, this is the perfect job for you.

- Excellent presence and communications skills.
You can write a succinct email, you are personable, and you can communicate effectively on client calls.
- Basic sales chops.
You’re not afraid to pick up the phone, and if you have sales experience, this is a major plus.
- Project management.
Excellent attention to detail - via Asana and AirTable; managing remote teams is your bag.
- Tech savvy.
You know what a CRM is and you’re not overwhelmed working with a variety of different apps like Streak, Asana, Google Suite, QuickBooks, and Harvest.
- Self starter.
We're a small startup and we need team members who can work autonomously and don't need to be micromanaged for each task/role
- Located in Continental US.
For time zone / communications reasons.
Examples of Responsibilities:
- Leading onboarding presentations to new clients.
- Asking tough questions to understand client experience.
- Being persistent, over phone and email, to get approvals from clients on campaign assets.
- Communicating client needs to our internal team.
- Coming up with better operational processes.
- Scheduling calls between clients and our team.
This will start as a part-time (around 20-hour per week), remote, freelance/1099 position @ $20-25 per hour.
The right candidate should expect to transition to full-time employee status after 4-12 months.
The right candidate will go on to influence management and strategy, giving direction to campaigns and new initiatives, all while learning and growing with the company.
