Role Description


The Remote Year Admissions team is looking for a progressive sales leader with a proven track record of success in B2C sales, as well as in leadership or management that can help develop our Remote Year Admissions Sales team. As our Admissions Sales Manager, you will drive the direction of the team and manage day-to-day operations for the division of Associates who are responsible for qualifying and booking interviews up to our Admissions Consultants. You will work closely with the Head of Admissions, Marketing, and other Sales Managers to create and drive a strategy that helps us grow our sales efforts. This will include figuring out how to move the sales funnel forward to maximize pipelines and increase revenue. You will also help us define the early buyer journey experience as we look to grow the qualified pool of applicants ready to join Remote Year. You will have the opportunity to grow the team and define what positions look like. This is a unique opportunity to coach and nurture an incredibly talented team and also help scale it by hiring and training additional top talent.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a plan for training, onboarding and development of new associates
  • Help build the narrative to sell the Remote Year experience
  • Determine what tools are needed to maximize efficiency and effectiveness within the team for daily tasks and workflow
  • Set and monitor key KPIs and goals for the team
  • Work with marketing to generate new leads
  • Work with analysts to build out necessary reporting & dashboards in Salesforce
  • Build a tight feedback loop and process with marketing to generate qualified leads

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of management experience, of which at least 2 years are in a sales management capacity, preferably of Sales Development Representatives or similar role
  • Familiarity with sales tools, in particular, Salesforce
  • Analytical and comfortable with numbers
  • Lead generation experience, account management
  • Experience building and growing a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Start-up experience a plus
  • Thrives in change and uncertainty
  • Ability to travel extensively
