Autism Believe Accept Therapy Services is looking for a detail-oriented and compassionate HR and Payroll Administrator to join our dedicated team in Los Angeles, CA. Responsibilities:
- Process accurate and timely payroll for all staff, ensuring compliance with federal and California state regulations
- Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and personnel files
- Assist with full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and new hire orientation
- Administer employee benefits programs and serve as a point of contact for benefits-related inquiries
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are up to date and compliant with applicable employment laws
- Support performance management processes and maintain documentation
- Respond to employee HR and payroll inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in HR administration, payroll processing, or a related role
- Solid knowledge of California labor laws and payroll compliance requirements
- Proficiency with payroll software and HRIS platforms (e.g., ADP, Gusto, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a team-oriented mindset
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
