We value transparency and want every candidate to have a positive experience while assessing mutual fit. Our process involves five carefully designed steps:
1. Introductory Call
- Who you'll meet: Cofounder and CEO
- Purpose:
- Understand your career aspirations and share the vision, mission, and goals of Fixa.
- Answer your questions about our company, team, and culture.
- Duration: 30-45 minutes
2. Portfolio and Technical Deep Dive
- Who you'll meet: CTO
- Purpose:
- Discuss your portfolio and past projects in depth.
- Explore how your skills align with the technical challenges at Fixa.
- What we’re looking for: Clear problem-solving skills, relevant technical experience, and alignment with our engineering needs.
- Duration: 1 hour
3. Live Coding Challenge
- Who you'll meet: Lead Engineer/Technical Advisor
- Purpose:
- Collaboratively solve a real-world coding challenge to evaluate your coding abilities and approach to problem-solving.
- Focus on technical excellence, clarity, and teamwork under time constraints.
- What we’re looking for: Code quality, debugging skills, and communication.
- Duration: 1.5-2 hours
4. Culture & Team Fit Interview
- Who you'll meet: Fixa team members (e.g., engineers, designers, product leads)
- Purpose:
- Learn more about our team dynamics and day-to-day collaboration.
- Assess how you would fit within our culture and values.
- What we’re looking for: Empathy, adaptability, and alignment with our team ethos.
- Duration: 45 minutes to 1 hour
5. Trial Work Week
- Purpose:
- Collaborate on a real project with the Fixa team to get hands-on experience with our tools, processes, and culture.
- Assess both technical skills and team collaboration in a practical setting.
- Duration: 1 week (part-time or full-time, depending on your availability)
- What we’re looking for: Initiative, collaboration, and delivery of impactful work.
