We are seeking a creative and experienced Freelance Wallpaper Designer to join our team on a project-by-project basis, contributing to the legacy of one of the world’s most renowned design movements.

As a Freelance Wallpaper Designer, you will be responsible for creating unique, visually captivating wallpaper designs that align with our brand’s ethos. You’ll have the creative freedom to explore a variety of styles—ranging from classic motifs inspired by nature to bold, modern patterns. Your designs will contribute to collections that appeal to a global audience with a passion for interior design.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize and design original wallpaper patterns that are cohesive with the brand's aesthetic.
  • Translate design briefs into beautiful, high-quality digital artwork.
  • Work with various design themes, including vintage, Art Nouveau, Victorian, Chinoiserie, and modern abstract styles.
  • Create repeatable patterns with a focus on detail, texture, and color.
  • Collaborate with our product development and marketing teams to ensure designs meet technical and commercial requirements.
  • Present design ideas and revisions, ensuring designs are production-ready.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in interior design and wallpaper to inspire fresh, innovative concepts.
  • Deliver projects within set timelines and provide revisions as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Wallpaper Designer or Surface Pattern Designer (portfolio required).
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or other relevant design software.
  • Exceptional illustration and digital design skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Understanding of repeat patterns, scale, and color in textile or wallpaper design.
  • Ability to translate trends into commercial designs while maintaining artistic integrity.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to take constructive feedback.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with flexibility and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of printing techniques and material types is a plus.
