The long version of our story: Back when web 2.0 was a thing (get off my lawn!) LeadSimple’s founders started a lead generation business connecting landlords with property management companies. Witnessing the challenges lead buyers had closing deals led into a natural segue to build out an industry-specific CRM which became the de-facto industry standard. Fast forward to 2020 when we released a process/workflow suite to move from the sales side of our clients business into the heart of day-to-day operations. The market was hungry and responded aggressively to the new direction, which led us to double down with growth and additional product expansion.




Expectations for your first 90 days:

  • 30 days - Develops a solid grasp of our product lines, feature sets, value proposition, business model, pricing, product development process, and documents this for the benefit of future product team members.
  • 60 days - Becomes an authority on product area, its current capabilities, customer problems, and begins shaping solutions.
  • 90 days - Driving tangible value for our customers and our business.



A day in the life of…

  • Contributes to Research Efforts - Collaborates with the Product leadership and designers in uncovering and defining key product challenges and opportunities. Stays familiar with customer feedback, and prioritizes the request backlog related to the assigned domain.
  • Facilitates Discovery Efforts - Leads product discovery on prioritized challenges, runs cross-functional team meetings to clarify the problem, shape a solution, and qualify the expected business results..
  • Contributes to Solution Design - Works with the designers  and engineers to craft solutions that we can deliver efficiently within project constraints.
  • Manages Projects to Completion - Oversees new products and features from conception to launch. Monitors progress against deadlines, communicates status updates crisply, and reports adverse discoveries quickly.
  • Supervises Messaging Around Launches - Oversees launch announcements and timing. Coordinates with marketing to update website and promotional materials.
  • Monitors Growth and Adoption - Assures that project KPIs are properly tracked. Suggests changes to KPIs if necessary.
