We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong AWS knowledge for one of our clients. You are a perfect candidate if you are growth-oriented, you love what you do, and you enjoy working on new ideas to develop exciting products.
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or cloud engineering role.
- Proven expertise in AWS services and architecture, including hands-on experience with large-scale deployments.
- Strong proficiency with AWS services (EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, CloudFormation, etc.).
- Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or ECS.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, CircleCI, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus).
Nice-to-have skills:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, or DevOps Engineer certifications.
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments or multi-cloud strategies.
- Familiarity with cost optimization strategies in AWS.
- Knowledge of security compliance standards such as SOC2, GDPR, or HIPAA.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure on AWS.
- Build and maintain VPCs, EC2 instances, RDS, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, and other AWS services.
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery strategies are in place.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
- Automate operational processes with tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Create scripts to streamline deployment, monitoring, and maintenance tasks.
- Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Automate software build, test, and deployment processes.
- Integrate CI/CD pipelines with monitoring and alerting systems.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools.
- Ensure adherence to security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and compliance requirements.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and support remediation efforts.
