Our studio, The Humble Hackers, builds the product: character chat with persistent memory, voice replies in ten styles and image generation.

We are a small team operating from Casper, Wyoming, and the roles we post here are remote.

Because the work touches an adult consumer product, candidates should be comfortable with that context.

- Small and direct. No layers — you talk to the people making the decisions, including the founder.
- Async by default. We're remote-first across time zones; write things down, don't wait for a meeting.
- Ship, learn, iterate. We release often and treat everything as version 1 of something better.
- Ownership over process. You get a problem and a goal, not a checklist.
- Honest context. We say what we're working on and why, including the uncomfortable parts.

We're builders who like seeing users use what we built — the product has an audience, and the work shows up in the real world fast. If you do your best work with autonomy and clear goals, you'll fit right in.

The hiring process steps are as follows:

• You apply to the google form, with Loom video being the most important evaluator.
• You answer 3 questions, and if you seem like a right fit, we reach you at the email.
• Either you will be given a short test task, asked few followup questions or Zoom video interview call will be scheduled.
• If all is good: We send you a contract, we hire you for a trial week, add on Slack and see if after 1 week we are still a good fit.
• Then if all is good, we work for a long-term.

We are very picky, but the team with us is a long time, we're looking for few, but really good people. We are intentionally small, but effective.
