We’re remote-first.
We weren’t thrown into remote work by the pandemic. For us, remote work is a conscious decision and is deeply ingrained in how we operate. Our work is mostly asynchronous, so the time zone differences don’t matter much. We default to working over Asana, Slack, and other modern tools. When we do have meetings, we find times that work for everyone. We have company-wide Zoom calls once a week so that everyone has a chance to summarize what they’ve been working on, and once a month, to discuss company strategy.
We’re level-headed.
We operate with a sense of urgency, but not so fast that we break things. We debate and make decisions dispassionately to make sure that we reach the right outcome. If you prefer your work environment to provide an emotional roller-coaster, we’re probably not for you.
We’re focused.
We’re usually heads-down, earnestly focused on executing well and improving our craft. We take time to have some fun and friendly banter every once in a while, but it’s not a party-like atmosphere.
We’re humble.
We strive to practice humility, because we believe it's necessary for consistently good decision-making. We’re also not naturally self-promotional, because we’re intrinsically motivated to perform at a high level. You’ll be hard-pressed to find hubris here.
