About Ace Stainless Supply: Ace Stainless Supply is a leading distributor in the stainless-steel products industry, servicing a diverse range of clients from hospitals to OEM manufacturers. With a recently updated website at www.acestainless.com, we offer instant pricing and a streamlined customer experience. We are expanding our outreach through a dynamic team of Outbound Call Service Representatives. Moreover, we will bring online www.acecarbonsteel.com, which will carry the same job requirements.

Currently, we manage roughly 20 Vendor Pricing Sheets. We have a direct API connection with a strong vendor partner and are planning discussions to tie into another premier vendor to support real-time pricing in our system and on the website. While most of our pricing files are 100% imported, I would like to consolidate them into one database. Additionally, we need to create a comprehensive part number guide for each product group. We have three part number guides created but aim to develop a super guide for our website to help customers understand and use our part numbers, with the ultimate goal of uploading our part numbers to their estimating programs. This could potentially be offered as a SaaS pricing structure to share our data with other companies.

I understand there's a lot to unpack here, which is why we need someone who can help bring our vision to life quickly. Ultimately, the full-time role would give you direct access to our database structure and support.

For this specific project, I would like to start by importing our current datasets into a single database, reviewing the data for accuracy, ensuring the files are up-to-date in our new ERP system, and then adding new products once we complete the current database with our pricing systems. My goal is to build up a crawl, walk, run approach to bringing you into the company. Initially, you would help us build out existing product files and understand our part number process.

You would report directly to me but work in unison with our current IT/Data Team Member. I would ask that you hold us accountable for data requests, clarification, and project updates to minimize and stave off tech debt through this partnership
