Must-haves
  • At least 2 years of commercial experience working with Ruby on Rails
  • Efficiency in writing automatic tests (Capybara/rspec)
  • Experience working with 3rd party APIs such as payment gateways, fulfillment providers, tax services, analytics, marketing automation
  • Good team player skills
  • Good knowledge of building performant SQL queries
  • Ability to deliver the feature from 0 to 1
  • Digest 3rd party API documentation
  • Creative, open-minded, get-sh*t-done approach

Nice-to-haves
  • Experience with Spree, Solidus, Shopify

The recruitment process:
  1. A Test Task - its main objective s to create a simple Ruby SDK for Vendo API. This task shouldn’t take more than 4-5 hours to complete. The goal is not to have a fully implemented solution, work-in-progress is more than enough! We just want to see how would you approach this challenge. Working with 3rd party systems and APIs would be a big chunk of your work at Vendo.

  6. We process your personal data in order to recruit for the position indicated in the announcement and possibly longer for the period of limitation of claims.
