The objective of this Account Executive/Accountant position is to deliver the ProfitCoach Experience (owning the outcome, ease of doing business, extraordinary experience) to ProfitCoach clients through account management that delivers accurate, timely, and efficient full-service accounting.

Skills
  • Ability to manage client relationship and deliver the ProfitCoach experience (customized solutions, ease of doing business, and extraordinary service)
  • Ability to oversee execution of services
  • Advanced problem-solving skills
  • Bookkeeping experience with a focus on accuracy, timeliness and efficiency
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to define and document new processes
  • Basic ability to read and analyze financial statements
  • Ability to quickly learn and master new cloud-based software applications
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Xero (preferred)
Key Responsibilities
While other responsibilities may be required within the scope of this position, here is a summary of tasks

Internal Tasks:
  1. Team meetings
  2. Internal email correspondence
  3. Skill development reading
  4. Daily task planning
  5. Task-by-task time tracking
  6. Account Executive functions:
    1. People
      1. Managing and training the team
      2. Answering questions
      3. Monitoring team performance metrics
    2. Process
      1. Being the first in line to take a new function, figure it out, define the process and train someone to carry out the new process
      2. Making sure all client tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time. Client tasks include:
        • AP
        • AR
        • Reconciliations
        • Payroll
        • Reporting
        • Sales/Use tax filing
        • Bookkeeping tasks
      3. Improving processes
    3. Client relationship
      1. Primary point of contact client communication
      2. Overseeing issue resolution
    4.  Financials
      1. Reviewing financials, including:
        • Reconciliations
        • Reports (owner statements, P&L, balance sheet)
        • Other crosschecks
