Paved, based in NYC, is looking for someone eager to contribute to the growth of a tech company in a fast growing niche within the advertising world.  

We are looking for a driven and organized individual to lead our publisher efforts. You will own inbound publisher inquiries, reach out to new publishers to match our current advertiser demand and manage these relationships.

Your attitude and ability to learn and take direction will be more important than experience.

You’ll work remotely with a lot of flexibility and independence.

About the job:

  • There’s going to be a lot of emailing and cold calling. This isn’t your traditional cold calling, you won’t be trying to sell. You will be reaching out to publishers and pairing them with large brands.

  • You will be doing a lot of research. We often have advertisers looking for publishers that appeal to an obscure audience. You should know all the advanced google commands and be able to find anything on the internet.

  • You’ll spend a lot of your day talking to passionate entrepreneurs who have grown blogs and newsletters around topics they love. You’ll be helping them monetize their efforts.

  • We track everything and you will too. You’ll be responsible for managing, tracking, and reporting all data/activities in Salesforce. Don’t worry, we can walk you through how to do this.

  • As you talk to publishers, you will identify new feature requests and opportunities. You will communicate these to the larger team and help them ship features to help publishers.

About You:

  • You are relentless - You might need to email someone 5 times before you get their attention. We need someone willing to push hard.

  • You have a good old fashioned work ethic, day in and day out. You have grit and take initiative and ownership to see things through to completion. If it needs doing, you do it.

  • You have some experience in B2B sales, sales development, or business development.

  • You’re a great communicator, writer, and problem solver. You have passion, enthusiasm, energy, humor, and the ability to convey this through phone and email communications.

  • You have a bias towards immediate action and results. You enjoy working independently with minimal supervision.

  • You're excited by working on a small, collaborative, innovative team and recognize that success for any product is ultimately measured by the success of the product’s customers.

  • You're well organized, detail-oriented, and self-driven.
