Position: Senior Digital Strategist

Department: Advertising

Reports to: CEO

Role:

The Senior Digital Strategist will be leading the digital ad operations for a high growth team at Emily Hirsh, Inc. Key aspects of the role include defining and implementing client success strategies, managing and mentoring a team of Ads Managers, leading internal meetings within the advertising division and managing the accounts of our bigger, more challenging clients. The Senior Digital Strategist will support the CEO in driving initiatives and contribute to overall business operations success and the ongoing growth of Emily Hirsh, Inc. A well-rounded leader and expert, the Senior Digital Strategist will possess extensive digital advertising know-how as well as process-driven operational leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure flawless execution of advertising operations through oversight of internal team with a focus on providing the best experience and results that serve our clients and maximize revenue.

  • Design and implement processes, systems and best practices for ad operations – providing recommendations and solutions to Ads Managers – including reporting and planning, routine monitoring of performance for direct clients, operations strategy, budget management, and KPIs.

  • Communicate strategy, analysis, forecasting and implementation plan to CEO and Strategic Team on Cadence meetings.

  • Stay abreast of changing programmatic marketplace and landscape for Facebook.

  • Support key platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google AdWords and Google Display.

Results:

  • Increased capacity for clients with an increase in ad management support.

  • Increased client results because of a second person with eyes on their account, who has an extremely high-level strategy.

  • Increased knowledge of scaling the agency to close higher level and quantity of clients.

  • Increased client retention rate.

  • Increased team momentum and productivity.

  • Decreased time the CEO has to spend on client accounts or communicating with clients.

  • Maintain a 75% margin in the ads department.

Requirements:

  • North American time zone

  • Previous agency management experience

  • Expert level Facebook ad and advertising strategy knowledge

  • 40 hours+ / week available to EH Inc Team

  • Ability to lead and manage internal team members

  • Ability to be on all of the team strategic meetings
