WHO YOU ARE
Angular Developer Consultant
You’re an experienced Angular developer looking for engaging, enjoyable work. You’d love to level up your skills working in different environments and get excited about seeing your projects in the real world. You like problem-solving and having a team with whom you can brainstorm simple solutions to complex problems.
In your career so far, you’ve built:
- 5+ years of professional experience developing single-page applications
- Strong JavaScript skills
- Experience in modern Angular versions; 16+ preferred
- Solid understanding of TypeScript and RxJS
- 2+ years experience with state management patterns and libraries; NgRx or similar reducer-based state management
- A solid background in Modern Front End Development, including JS frameworks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A good understanding of Computer Science (CS degree or equivalent knowledge)
WHAT YOU’LL DO AT BITOVI
Develop. You’ll get to work in a culture that values quality over quantity and collaboration over cowboy coding. Your time will be spent on client projects doing development. The development work might include:
- Angular Upgrades
- Monorepos and Micro Frontend Architecture
- Adopting Reactive Programming
- State Management
- Implementing Modern Tooling like NX, Custom Angular Schematics
- Giving Angular, Typescript, and RxJs Training
- Building Framework-Agnostic Web Components
- Performing Codebase Audits & Resolving Performance Issues
- Ionic Applications
- Working on Angular ecosystem open source tooling
Consult. You’ll interface with clients daily to understand their needs, gather information, and update them on the progress of the projects.
Travel. Our development team travels to meet with our clients in person. Travel for this project role is not planned, however that could change.
You’ll fit in well at Bitovi if you are:
- Interested in development best practices
- Experienced in contributing to or using open source projects
- Flexible enough to work well autonomously or as part of a larger team
- Always developing new skills, trying out new technology, and testing new ideas
- Comfortable and confident working with clients directly
