WANTED: “A Player” Community Manager For Men’s Dating Advice Co.

Join our small, fast-growing company and help provide thousands of men with powerful, life-changing courses that improve their social, dating and sex life!

We’re in need a full-time community manager who ideally has 4+ years of experience (we’re open minded if you have less and want to make a case) who can help grow our community of men.

You’ll be evaluated on specific engagement and growth metrics, as well as qualitative factors.

This Job Entails:

  • Keeping your pulse on the community needs, desires and complaints and reporting these back to the CEO
  • Launching, running, moderating and growing a forum
  • Launching, running, moderating and growing blog comments
  • Running, moderating and growing a Facebook group
  • Running, moderating and growing YouTube comments
  • Organizing events, including guest forum Q&A’s and weekly webinars
  • Reaching out to community members to resolve community-related issues, complaints and conflicts and dealing with “problem users”
  • Helping customer service resolve issues, both proactively and reactively, that present themselves inside the community
  • Identifying key community members and providing opportunities for them to participate on a higher engagement level (moderators, writers, etc)
  • Identifying and welcoming new members and providing opportunities to introduce and involve them in the community
  • Working with CEO to establish community guidelines and rules
  • Composing weekly community “metrics and trends” reports
  • Helping to ensure our webinars and guest events drive sales (willingness to learn basics of selling on a webinar and marketing skills)
  • Hosting and MC’ing events with special guests via Google Hangouts or other webinar services. This means you occasionally will speak to our community via live broadcasts
  • Experience hiring and managing moderators, people to respond to comments and questions, as well as new employees to help expand community efforts

Nice To Have’s:

  • Experience launching, growing and moderating a forum
  • Experience launching, growing and moderating Facebook groups and/or pages
  • Experience launching a “comments” section on a blog
  • Experience running polls, contests and other events to help boost community interest and engagement

Details about this position:

Compensation: $50k – 60k+

Hours: 10am – 6pm EST, Monday-Friday (semi-flexible)

Location: Can work from home. Weekly or monthly in-person meetings. The company may acquire office space soon (position will remain remote). Highly prefer someone in US / Canada.

Our Team: We’re located in NYC and 22 strong, plus additional part-time employees.
