Spoonme.kitchen is a bootstrapped business started bye,  Matthew Duff. After about ten years working at GitHub and LaunchDarkly I am now working on building a small, but profitable, company helping people be more deliberate about their food choices while celebrating the joy, and community, of food.

The business has a couple of years of runway, but hopefully we get paying customers within the first six months. This is a contract role, but ideally this individual who owns design and UX at Spoonme can work with us for a long time.

I think most organizations suffer from a lack of focus. At Spoonme we want to be laser focused on what we need to do to meet our customers needs. We reduce our work week to ensure we are focused on the most important tasks.

We work asynchronously around the world (currently in the US and Europe). We want Spoonme to be a place where talented individuals work reasonable hours over the long term building a product people love. Our objective is to not use shortsighted reasoning to produce growth at all costs.

If you think you may be the right person to work with us and own design at the company, please reach out. We would love to hire some people with a different perspective than the current team members, to have more diversity of thought to build a better product and company.

We hope to hear from you!
